This Privacy Policy explains what information FORGIUM handles and how. FORGIUM is a free-to-play idle RPG with optional in-app purchases and advertising. This is a BETA release.

1. Summary (plain language)

• Your game progress is stored locally on your device (via the platform's local storage / PlayerPrefs). We do not run our own servers that collect your personal data in this version.
• We do not ask for your name, email, or account in order to play. The display name you type is stored only on your device.
• Third-party SDKs (advertising, store billing, optional sign-in, and crash/analytics if enabled) may process limited technical data (such as a device advertising identifier) under their own privacy policies. These are listed in Section 4.
• You can play without ads by buying Remove Ads, and you can opt out of personalised ads where your platform allows.

2. Information handled

a) Stored on your device only (not sent to us):

• Game progress: levels, zones, gold/materials/gems/keys/bones/potions/essence, equipment, pets, missions, battle pass, guild and settings.
• Your chosen display name.
• Your consent choices (terms acceptance, notification preference).

b) Processed by third-party SDKs (when active):

• A device advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA) for ads and measurement.
• Coarse technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, approximate region, and crash diagnostics.
• Purchase validation tokens handled by the app store when you buy something.

We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or biometric data.

3. How information is used

• To run and save your game on your device.
• To show ads and, with your consent, personalised ads.
• To process in-app purchases through the app store.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability (if crash reporting is enabled).
• To enable optional sign-in (Google / Google Play Games / Apple) only if you choose to use it, for cloud save and leaderboards at full launch.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services (BETA: may be partially stubbed)

Depending on the build, FORGIUM may integrate the following. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising. policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — in-app purchases.
• Google Play Games Services / Sign in with Google / Sign in with Apple — optional account sign-in, leaderboards, cloud save.
• Crash/analytics (e.g. Unity / Firebase) — if enabled.

During BETA, some of these may be disabled or simulated; no real personal data is processed by a disabled SDK.

5. Children

FORGIUM is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and it contains no real-money gambling. If we learn that a child under the applicable age has provided personal data through a third-party SDK, we will work with that provider to remove it.

6. Your choices and rights

• Ads: buy Remove Ads, and use your device settings to limit ad tracking / reset your advertising ID.
• Notifications: opt in/out on the start screen and in your device settings.
• Local data: uninstalling the app, or using in-game Reset Save, deletes your local progress.
• Access/erase: for any personal data processed by a third-party SDK, you can exercise your rights through that provider, or contact us at the email above and we will assist.
• Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing.

7. Data retention & security

Local game data remains on your device until you delete it. Third-party providers retain data per their own policies. We use reasonable technical measures, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

If third-party SDKs are used, data they process may be transferred to and processed in other countries under their own safeguards.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where required, shown in-app. Continued play after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
