Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026  ·  App: FORGIUM (the "Game")

This Privacy Policy explains what information FORGIUM handles and how. FORGIUM is a free-to-play idle RPG with optional in-app purchases and advertising, and with online features: clans, chat, friends, rankings and the Arena. This is a BETA release.

1. Summary (plain language)

2. Information handled

a) Stored on your device only (not sent to us):

b) Processed by third-party SDKs (when active):

c) Stored on our servers (online features):

Described in Sections 2A to 2K below. We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or biometric data.

2A. Your online account and the data stored under it

When you tap START, the game asks Google Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account for this installation. We receive a random user identifier (UID); there is no email address, password or phone number. The identifier and a refresh token are saved on your phone so the same account is used next time. If Android backup is turned on for your device, this saved game data (including the identifier) can be backed up to your Google account and restored on a new phone or after you reinstall the game. The game does not contact our servers for the account before you accept the Terms.

Under that identifier we store:

We use this data to run these features, to build rankings and to limit abuse (daily limits, a minimum account age of 24 hours for some social actions, rate limits). We do not sell your personal data.

If you use Reset Save (which erases the phone only), a new anonymous account is created the next time the game starts. If you reinstall the game, Android backup (if it is on) may restore your previous account; otherwise a new account is created. The online data of an account you stop using is not linked to the new one and stays on our servers until it is deleted. To remove it, use Delete Account in Settings (Section 2K) before you reset or uninstall, or write to us (Section 6).

2B. What other players can see

"Any signed-in account" below means any anonymous account: every player has one, and an account can also be created outside the game by anyone who uses our public interface, so this includes people who are not playing.

The entries sent to your phone for rankings, rosters, friends and Arena also carry the other player's anonymous identifier, which the app uses for actions such as adding a friend or reporting.

2C. Clans

If you create or join a clan we store your membership record (display name, power, join time, role and title, last-active time and a boss damage value) and the clan's record (name, emblem, description and announcement written by its leaders, language, join mode, minimum power, level, XP, member count). If you ask to join, we store your name, power and an optional message of up to 80 characters, which clan leaders and officers can read. Leaders and officers can remove or ban members; a removal or ban is recorded with the identifier of the officer who did it and a short reason (the game offers preset reasons), and the reason also appears in the clan activity log, which clan members can read. Leaders and officers can create clan invitation codes (valid for 72 hours, optionally issued for one specific player); the invitation record names the inviting officer and, when issued for a player, that player's identifier. Clan events (joins, leaves, kicks, bans, role changes, requests and invitations) are written to the clan activity log, and some are announced in clan chat with the member's display name. Once a day a scheduled job looks at the last-active time of clan members: it warns a leader who has been inactive for 10 days and hands leadership to another member after 14 days, announcing both in clan chat. When you leave a clan we delete your membership record; chat messages, log entries and notices that already name you are not removed when you leave (Section 2K explains what happens when you delete your account).

2D. Chat

Global chat and clan chat messages are written to our database with your anonymous identifier, your display name and a server timestamp. A message is plain text of up to 140 characters. The game applies a basic word filter before sending and limits how fast you can send; we do not review messages before they appear and the server does not check their content. You cannot edit or delete a message after it is sent; your messages are deleted when you delete your account (Section 2K). You can report another player's message and block that player on your own device (Section 2G). Global chat is visible to every signed-in account. Clan chat is meant for the members of that clan, but it is not private: other signed-in accounts can technically read it. Do not share personal information in chat.

2E. Friends, invite codes and invitations

You can add a friend with their invite code (six characters, derived from the account identifier and shown on the Invite screen), or from a clan roster or a player's sheet. Anyone who knows your code can look up your account to send you a friend request; the number of wrong codes a player can try per day is limited. We store your friend list (up to 20 friends: each friend's identifier and the date you became friends), the friend requests you sent and received (up to 20 each; a request expires after 7 days) and the players you blocked (up to 50). Your friends see your display name, power, Tower floor, clan name and roughly how long ago you were last active. You can remove a friend at any time. If a friend signs up with your invite code, we also record which account invited which; a scheduled job outside Firebase reads these records to build the Invites ranking. When you share an invite link, your invite code travels in the Google Play install referrer.

2F. Clan Help, kudos and gifts

When you ask your clan for help with a pet-craft or expedition timer, we store a request (your display name, the timer type and slot, its duration and when it ends); members of your clan can see it until the timer ends. When a clanmate helps, we record who helped whom, show it in the clan activity feed (the latest 30 events) and in a weekly "top helpers" list (top 3 shown), and we add a notification with the helper's name to your activity list. Kudos and gifts can be sent to friends (after 24 hours of friendship) and to clanmates; the recipient sees your display name in their activity list for 7 days, and we keep counters such as the number of kudos received. If another player sends you a request, kudos or gift, we create or update your social record so that you can receive it, even if you never opened these screens. These features give small in-game bonuses only: there is no payment and nothing is taken from you.

2G. Reports, blocking and moderation

You can report another player's chat message, or a player from your Friends list, for: name, harassment, spam or other (up to 5 reports per day). A report stores your identifier, the reported player's identifier, the reason category and the time; for a chat message it also stores which message was reported (the channel and the message identifier), not a copy of the text. Reports are kept for 90 days and are read by the developer by hand; nothing is done automatically. We cannot promise a response time. If a player breaks the Terms we may remove their content or restrict their access, and we may record that on the account.

There are two separate kinds of blocking. In chat, blocking a player hides that player's messages from you; the list of blocked chat players stays on your phone only (you can undo a block, or unblock everyone). In your Friends list, blocking a player stops that player from sending you friend requests, kudos, gifts and Clan Help and hides their Clan Help requests from you; this list is stored on our server (up to 50 players) and does not hide their chat messages. Leaders and officers of a clan can remove or ban members.

2H. Rankings, Arena and weekly rankings

The Power and Tower rankings are built from the profile values in Section 2A, and the clan rankings from the clan records in Section 2C. The Invites ranking, built by a scheduled job from the invitation records, shows the display names and the numbers of qualified invitations of the top 10 inviters.

Arena: the game uploads a snapshot of your hero's combat statistics (attack, health, defense, damage reduction, critical chance and multiplier, double hit, speed, regeneration), the rarity and level of the equipment in each slot, your rebirth count and power, together with your display name. Other players with similar power can fight a simulated copy of your hero; you do not need to be online. We store your rating and season, your last opponents, the last 10 players who attacked you (name, whether they won, time; used to offer a rematch), and a record of each duel (both fighters' statistics) for 30 days. League tables show the top 20 names and ratings.

Weekly rankings (Tower Ranking and Weekly League): each week we store your name, your level, your weekly progress and a result record; these expire about 8 weeks after the week ends.

2I. "Last active" and connection checks

The game contacts our server when it starts, when you return to it and about every 15 minutes while it is open; the server stores the time of the latest contact (written at most once every 10 minutes). The game shows it to your friends only as "Online" (within about 20 minutes), "Today", "Yesterday" or "N days ago", but the underlying value (the time elapsed since your last contact) is sent to your friends' phones. Clan members' phones receive a "last active" timestamp in the clan roster, refreshed at most every 30 minutes.

To check that you are online, the game also requests a small connectivity-check address operated by Google (clients3.google.com) about every 15 seconds while it is open. Like any internet service, Google, which operates this address and our servers, processes network information such as IP addresses and the time of the request.

2J. How long we keep online data

DataHow long
Short-lived technical records of your recent actions (so a repeated request is not applied twice); they can contain the response sent to you, including other players' display names7 days
Friend requestsValid for 7 days; expired entries are hidden at once and removed later, when a new request is sent from or to your account
Activity-list entries (help, kudos, gifts, friend notices)Shown for 7 days; expired entries are removed the next time a new entry is added
Clan Help requestsUntil the timer ends or you cancel; removed the next time someone in the clan asks for or gives help
Clan Help feed and weekly top helpersLatest 30 events per clan; current week, up to 50 names
"Last active"Latest value only (overwritten)
Reports90 days from the report
Arena duel records30 days
Weekly ranking entries and resultsUntil about 8 weeks after the week ends
Everything else: profile, clan records and logs, chat messages, join requests, ban records, friend and block lists, Arena rating and snapshot, the account itselfKept until you delete your account (Section 2K) or ask us to delete it (Section 6). We do not currently delete inactive accounts automatically.

Time-limited items are removed by Firestore's time-to-live feature some time after their expiry, not at that exact moment.

2K. Deleting your online account (Settings → Delete Account)

When you use Delete Account in Settings and the game can reach our server, the server erases the data stored under your anonymous account and then the account itself: your profile and invite code; your invitation records; your social record (friends, requests, blocks, activity list) and your entry in the friend, request and activity lists of your current friends and clanmates; your Clan Help requests and the help you gave in your current clan; your clan membership (you leave the clan; if you are its leader and other members remain, leadership passes to another member; if you are its only member the clan is archived); your global and clan chat messages; your join requests, clan invitations and ban records in your current clan; your Arena and weekly ranking records; and the technical records of your recent actions. Only after the server confirms, the game also erases the data on your phone. If the game cannot reach the server, nothing is deleted and the game tells you, so you can try again later.

Some things can remain after deletion, because they belong to other players' records or to the history of a clan: entries in a clan's activity log (they carry only an anonymous identifier, no name, and the reason of a removal or ban); automatic clan-chat notices that mention your display name (for example "X joined the clan."); bans recorded in other clans; Clan Help feed and top-helper entries in clans you already left, and kudos or gifts you sent to people who are no longer your friends or clanmates; the anonymous identifier in other players' block lists and in the records of players you invited or who invited you (no other data); reports you made about other players (kept for up to 90 days, with your identifier removed); technical records of the deletion itself (7 days); the Invites ranking snapshot, until it is next recalculated; and, if you were the only member of a clan, the archived clan with the name, description and announcement you wrote (it stays hidden from search). If you want any of these removed, write to us (Section 6).

3. How information is used

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services (BETA: may be partially stubbed)

Depending on the build, FORGIUM may integrate the following. Each has its own privacy policy:

During BETA, some of these may be disabled or simulated; no real personal data is processed by a disabled SDK.

5. Children

FORGIUM is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country). It is not directed at children below that age, and it contains no real-money gambling. The game does not ask for your age; by tapping START you confirm that you meet the minimum age set in the Terms. Chat, clans and friends let you communicate with other players. If you believe that a child below the minimum age has an account, email forgium.support@gmail.com and we will delete it (Section 6). If we learn that a child under the applicable age has provided personal data through a third-party SDK, we will work with that provider to remove it.

6. Your choices and rights

7. Data retention & security

Local game data remains on your device until you delete it. Online data is kept as described in Sections 2J and 2K. Data is sent between the app and our servers over HTTPS. Third-party providers retain data per their own policies. We use reasonable technical measures, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Chat messages and rankings are visible to other players by design.

8. International transfers

Our database and server functions are in Belgium, but Google (Firebase Authentication, connection checks, logs), Netlify, GitHub and any third-party SDKs we use may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where required, shown in-app. Continued play after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
